RUBY KEELER 1937 VINTAGE ORIGINAL STUDIO 5X7 PHOTOGRAPH SIGNED IN INK WITH CANCELLED ENVELOPE (I make no claim they were signed by the star but I tried to match signatures that I could research and this one looks good to my untrained eye!) Photo has no creases -it is still crisp/ no fading- corner has ever so slight tiny tiny bit of wear- basically the photo shows the the normal wear of age. Written on back in pencil by Ruth, "REady Willing and Able". Envelope is still legible-cancelled stamp visible...but the envelope is in rough shape- sides have split with age-as she had many photos stuffed into it and perhaps a mouse has nibbled on the end. Written on the back is all the names of the photos she had inside! Most will be listed in separate auctions. I will be happy to combine :) I am helping a 90 year old friend of my Mom's sell some of the contents of her estate! She has recently had to go into an Assisted Living environment and has asked me to sell some of her long forgotten treasures! All the contents of my auctions are from her personal collection. Ruth is 90 years old and just lost her husband of 60 years last year---who was 100! All the contents belonged to them or their parents/relatives.
