Vintage Doubleweight Matte-finish 8X10 Portrait Photo of 1920's Silent Film heart-throb RUDOLPH VALENTINO . The photo was taken by early Hollywood Photographer HENRY WAXMAN, his name is written (in the negative) on the lower right corner. The photo is signed: "Sincerely, Rudolph Valentino" in what appears to be blue/grey fountain pen ink. It is very difficult to tell whether or not the autograph is hand-written by Valentino, or if it is a stamp. It's definitely not in the negative, on close inspection, you can see the ink on the photo. If it is a stamp it's very convincing. The photo is slightly faded, a few handling creases & t, some scattered staining, mostly in the left background. Nonetheless, a rare vintage Hollywood artifact of an early Silent Film icon.
