He was born in Oaxaca de Juarez, Mexico on August 26th , 1899 and died on June 24th, 1991. After his parents passed away he moved to Mexico CIty. Due to political pressure he decided to leave Mexico and move to New York in 1926 because he thought he was not able to freely express his art because of political disagreements.
