Up for sale is a Pewter teapot made by Rufus Dunham from Stevens Plains Maine.The teapot is marked R. Dunham. After 1861 Rufus Dunham went into business with his sons and the mark changed to Dunham and Sons Portland Me.10.5" L x 6" W x 8" H. A few dings - this piece is not mint, but it is a great example of an early to mid 19th Century american pewter manufacturer. The piece is very solid and would make a great addition to any pewter collection. Please see pictures, if you need any further pictures or questions answered please let me know.
