An original copy of the Wakefield Trinity Gazette which reports about the match between Australasia and Yorkshire on Dec 7th 1921. This match took place at the Belle Vue ground in Wakefield in front of 6000 spectators. Australasia beat Yorkshire 24 - 8.
It was part of the third ever Kangaroo tour of Great Britain. Captain of Yorkshire at the time was Harold Wagstaff who also captained the GB side (his name is spelled incorrectly in this - Wagstaffe!).
Considering this is 82 years old the condition is good. There are some pencil marks. You can read all the words including the big film advertised at the time - "The Kid" with Charlie Chaplin!.
Great, and very old, item of sports and Rugby League memorabilia.
Will post worldwide. Any questions please ask. .
