DO NOT REMOVE! s a very spicey piece of unrefined uranium ore from the very famous Ruggles Mine, NH. Dendritic gummite, uraninite, and others richly populate the matrix. Very solid, and polished on one side. Measures 5.5cm across. Calibrated CDV700 counter measures this to be 36,000cpm (beta+gamma) and with the shield closed, pure gamma is 15mR/Hr! This is quite a spicey little rock! If measured on a more sensitive meter, such as those used by other sellers on ebay, the cpm would likely be near 400,000cpm! Would make an excelent source of gamma. Spinthariscopes, cloud chambers, and rad-photography. A very rare piece, these dont turn up but once and a while.
