Issue No. 19 of RUMBLINGS, the quarterly Marc Bolan fanzine published by the Tyrannosaurus Rex Appreciation Society (1996), with this issue reporting on various m,anuscripts turning up on the market - YOU'VE AN OCEAN IN YOUR EYE, HEAS AN ODD MAN, IMPRISONED IN INSECURITY, BLUE SUEDE SHOES and a part of PICTURES OF PURPLE PEOPLE. Usual A4 format. 16pp. Illustrated throughout. Every issue of this attractive fanzine carried new details of Bolan's life, his family, his unknown writings & recordings, his concert tours & work in radio, television & films, often original & previously unknown, but also bringing long-forgotten newspaper stories back to life. Every one was a gem - if you loved Marc Bolan. This copy comes from the collection established by George Tremlett, who wrote the only book on Marc Bolan published during Bolan's lifetime, THE MARC BOLAN STORY, based on interviews with Marc and his family, his musicians & his one-time manager Tony Secunda, who was one of Tremlett's personal friends for over thirty years.
