Rumely Pin This is an advertising item from the famous Rumely company of La Porte,Indiana. In tiny letters it says We Manufacture Machinery for Plowing Hulling and Threshing around the periphery. It is a slight modification of their standard Western Hemisphere globe logo. Over America is written La Porte. It is in nice condition. The 2 inch pin soldered to the body of the pin which is 1 inch tall and ¾ inch wide. The total length is just a little less than 2 ½ inches. Nice condition. Please refer to the images. Sharp eyes or a good magnifying glass is needed to read the information on the pin. About the collection For years my grandfather and father collected farm-related literature and advertising items, almost all 1850s-1930 and very many steam, gas tractor/engines and horse-drawn items. These include catalogs, flyers, repair lists, price lists, period thresher magazines, watch fobs and photos. The time has come to place these long-treasured items in the hands of other enthusiasts. Time will tell if eBay remains the best venue.
