Recently acquired from the original owner. Appears he had set 1621WS from 1959.
All original, nothing broken. Very good in my opinion but pictures show it all for you to judge for yourself.
Runs great, goes fast if you like that, pulls 8 cars easily.
Please look at pictures for best representation of cosmetic condition, they are the ultimate part of this description. If you are unsure of anything, it is your responsibility to ask questions.
Has some nicks and paint loss on edges but not bad.
Rubber stamped 2037 is very nice and white.
Missing a green jewel - easy to find right on ebay.
No idea if smoke works as I don't have any pellets around. No lightbulb in socket.
Matching 6026W tender listed separately tonight as well as cars from the set.
Again, just a great running original postwar steamer for your layout. Will provide hours of enjoyment.
Feel free to ask questions via ebay or call me at , if I don't answer please leave a message with your phone number and I will get back to you.
Accept paypal and more, please inquire. If you want to pay by check, please remember that it takes time to get here in the mail and clear my bank before I ship.
NO RESERVE so bid early and bid often...with reckless abandon!
Forty-eight contiguous states only, sorry. Shipping shown is for contiguous 48 states only. Happy to combine shipping. This is just a hobby so shipping cost is my best guess as to what it would be with insurance at a value/price I don't know! I don't have a scale and don't have contracts with Fedex or UPS which is why I WILL REFUND ANY OVERAGES IN SHIPPING GREATER THAN 12% - which is what ebay adds to the cost . Please don't wait until after the auction to ask for special shipping arrangements! If you need something special, let me know before you bid!
Heavy and large items will generally be shipped via UPS, so please, no post office boxes unless you contact me in advance. Most everything else will go via USPS.
Buying as pictured, refunds if I have grossly mis-represented the item...YOU MUST LET ME KNOW WITHIN THREE DAYS! THAT'S 3 DAYS!
Thanks for your time and interest.
