's a very hard to find item from the collection of Russel Wright American Modern dinnerware - a 3 piece stack set in white. The set is comprised of a larger bowl, a smaller (shorter) bowl, and a lid that fits either of the two bowls. Designed as a tiered storage container, it is decorative and versatile. The white color goes with anything.The set is approximately 6-3/4" in diameter, and the combined height of the piece to the top of the knob on the lid is 6-3/4". The large bowl is approximately 4" tall, the smaller one is 2-1/4" tall. Both bowls are impressed on the base with the "Steubenville, made in USA" mark. The set is in excellent, near mint condition. A beautiful piece. T are no chips, cracks, fleabites, or damage to the glaze of any kind. The rims are completely intact. The base ring of the larger bowl shows normal wear. This is a low starting price for a very desirable item. Insurance is highly recommended as this piece is so rare! I cannot be responsible for any uninsured items lost or damaged in the mail. The shipping rate includes the cost of materials, but not insurance. Combined shipping is cheerfully available in most cases. Hope that this is something that you will cherish as my family has. It has been in the family for years.
While cleaning, on the underside of the top bowl, I feel a small ~1cm area w t is no glaze. It is not visible unless you tip it upside down and angle it just so in the light, but you can feel it. I took a picture, which is posted, but you can't see it. Never noticed it before, but want to be accurate. T is no crazing whatsoever. T is a small needlepoint pop in the glaze on the side of the bottom canister.
