Authentic and Original Vintage Russel Wright American Modern "Chartreuse Curry" 6 Piece Serving Set Russel Wright American Modern Dinnerware was manufactured by Steubenville Pottery from 1939-1959 and was Russel Wright's first dinnerware line. The color is "Chartreuse Curry" which is a strong yellow/gold/ mustard color (the pictures do not accurately reflect the color -they are NOT greenish the way they are represented by this digital camera) All items will be described below and are free from chips, cracks, crackling or wear and are in mint condition. Most pieces are signed on the bottom: "RW MFG by Steubenville". Quoting Ann Kerr..."it is difficult to assemble a dinner service and even harder to locate some of the serving pieces". If you are a dedicated RW collector, then this collection is for you. The price for this collection according to the Collector's Encyclopedia of Russel Wright 3rd Edition by Ann Kerr is valued at $260. The reserve price is based solely on mint condition pieces.
