RUSSELL MAXX H.O. SCALE SLOT CAR "VERY RARE" WITH EXTRAS! "FREE SHIPPING" This auction is for one of the rarest HO slot cars ever made. This is a genuine RUSSELL MAXX H.O. Scale Lola T530 Can-Am slot car from the early 80's . The chassis is near mint condition and runs well with one exception, the pinion gear is missing. I have no idea what happened to it, I have searched high and low. The body is in mint condition also. The Lola T530 in my opinion is one of the best looking slot car bodies ever created. The Lola body pivots on 2 body posts, created to helped the car take the corners faster than any other car of it's time. The Russell Maxx car was created by Jim Russell in 1981. Jim was also the creator of "Russkit", famous for their slot cars in the 60's and 70's. As of a few years ago Jim was with Racemasters. Jim Russell has done more to advance the slot car hobby and chassis development in particular than perhaps anyone, since the mid '60s. As you can see in the pictures I am including an extra chassis minus the armature, one of the arm bushings, pick-ups and springs, brush barrels, and pinion gear. Also I am including 2 extra bodies, one is mint the other has a couple minor scratches.
