Hi. This doll does have some issues - all have been disclosed in the description. She's still beautiful, and of a quality that is rarely seen these days. Priced low to find a good home... German artist Rotraut Schrott learned much from her father, Ludwig Adam who was a famous portrait artist. Her dolls are known for their realism - with warm and tender expressions, although some capture a moment of happiness, like this one. Her goal, it is said, is to create dolls "the collector, for a short, wonderful moment believes are alive, that they will try to speak with them...I want to create dolls that appear to have a heart and soul." Some of her original dolls were reproduced by the Great American Doll Company (GADCO). Sadly, GADCO is no longer in business, but they produced the most spectacular dolls. Ninotschka has a twinkle in her brown glass eyes, long upper and lower eyelashes, a lovely smile, and dimples! *She is missing some blush in two small spots on her right cheek.* Her shiney brown hair is braided and fastened across the top of her head, while little curls caress each cheek. This girl stands approx. 28" tall. She has 3/4 hard vinyl limbs on a cloth stuffed body. *In checking the back of her neck, you will see the dye from her clothing has darkened some of the vinyl - something that unfortunately is common among these dolls. read more
