This is a wonderful Russian folk art doll. The Russian doll is handcrafted and sewn by the artist. It is also handpainted. The ceramic hands and upper body supports the beautiful handcrafted and hand sewn lace and silk dress with lovely bows. The lovely victorian lady has a beautiful stylish hat. This is an amazing example of Russian folk art at it's best. It shows the workmanship and experience of the artist of Russia. The outfit depicts costumes worn in a particular region and time in Russian history. This doll was made for Image Craft of Canada. The vintage doll measures 10" tall x 4" across the base.
