This is an unissued Russian MVD woodland camouflage uniform in a Russian 182-100-88 size. This uniform is shown on page 143 of Dennis Desmondâe(tm)s book âeoeCamouflage Uniforms of the Soviet Union and Russia âe. Desmond states that these uniforms were issued to combat units of the MVD and were one of the first uniforms to be designed for use by the Russian Ministry for Internal Affairs (MVD). Produced in the early 1990âe(tm)s by the Vera factory in Saint Petersburg , the pants and jacket have MVD markings, 3-digit factory size stamps along with OTK approval stamps âe" see photos below. The uniformâe(tm)s unique woodland camouflage can be identified by the 3 finger pattern shown in the photos below. You can see the 3 finger pattern just above the sleeve pocket on the uniform worn by the MVD combat trooper in the photo below. This 3 finger pattern can also be seen on the left shoulder of his vest. Jacket : Approximate 40âe chest and 34âe sleeve length. 6 button front closure with the buttons concealed by a flap. 2 chest pockets with Velcro closure. Button cuffs.
