Alphabet book . A postcard from the Alphabet (Azbuka) series by Elisaveta Bem (1843-1914), see: http://www.nlr.ru:8101/eng/exib/bem/text.htm the card was published in Prague, sometime in the 1920s. Postcard is unused and in an excellent shape. It measures 5 5/8âe tall by 3 5/8âe wide. The series: This card is part of a series of 29 total cards that represent the Imperial Russian Alphabet (Pre-Revolution / 1917). The card: This card features a picture of a schoolboy studying his alphabet and is the cover picture for the series. The card is titled: âeoeAlphabet Textbookâe and below the picture is text in Russian: âeoeThe world exists by Gods will People live by knowledge, He knows more Who has a book in his hand.âe TERMS: Payment is due within 5 days of auction close, but we'd prefer it if you could pay sooner rather than later. The faster you pay, the faster we ship and the faster you get your card(s). Paypal is prefered. Shipping is a flat fee of $1 for domestic buyers. WE DO COMBINE SHIPPING for up to six cards. We will ship via USPS within one business day of payment. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - Because of the unreliability of some postal systems we offer and recommend using REGISTERED MAIL for your shipments. We invoice a flat fee of $13 for registered mail shippments, and can combine up to six cards. Alternately, you can choose to ship for a flat fee of $2.50, however we will assume no responsibility if your shipment is not delivered. All cards are guaranteed authentic.
