Flying Duck to hang above baby's cot like a mobile - or for anyone who loves kitsch - why not have 3 flying up the mantelpiece! Handmade to a 1930s pattern in velvet, cordroy, needlecord and felt. Bright red corduroy with yellow felt legs and beak and blue eyes, orange stitching on beak and legs. Yellow satin ribbon. ONE AVAILABLE. Measures: 26cms from beak to tail, 16cms from back to toe. Stuffed with polyester filling. No hard parts, no choking hazards. Can be hand washed and drip dried. Should stand up to vigorous play by growing toddlers including beak sucking, using as a hammer, whizzing around heads. May stand machine wash and gentle spin but I suggest hand care if you want duckie to last 25 years like the one I made for my eldest son Rupert. The pattern comes 'The Making of Soft Toys by C. Eliot Edlmann (11th impression 1945)- inherited from my Mother.ALSO SHOWN IN THE OTHER PHOTOS but may not be listed on ebay as separate items:Bright emerald green corduroy with green/blue patterned under wings blue eyes & green satin ribbon.
