this is a plated and numbered beautiful and rare strip of three of the 1851 1c Washington #7 type 2--it numbers from left to right 88, 89, 90 RIE. This is a very deep blue. I have another plated strip currently for sale which is a very pale blue--the last scan will show the difference. This is the darker strip on the bottom of the scan and the auction is only for that strip. Catalogues for about $800 in this condition and this is one of those lovely collectibles i'm deeply attached to and will not let go for pennies on the dollar. I'll start the auction at about 20% of catalogue and offer it as a buy it now for 50% and if it doesn't sell i'll enjoy having it a few more years before trying to sell it again. Thanks for looking.

Also—please note that I do not notify or do the ebay bookkeeping when the item is shipped—please assume it is always shipped usually within three days and never more than 5 unless I am sick.
