WWII era "yearbook" like format for 119th Field Artillery Group and there European Operations during WWII. + Arm y of U.S . certificate. made out to Homer R. Garrison, on his appointment to Staff Sergeant, dated 24, Nov. 1941. The certifi ca te signature is by Glenn W. Carey, Colonel and dated Jan. 20, 1942 These campaign yearbooks are getting very hard to find as the last of the WWII veterans pass on. Sp ine is giving way, although the book has no loose pages yet. Cover is decent, lettering is faded. Inside pages are clean - no writing. Got this at an auction in Mesa, Arizon a in M arch 2 013. No printing dates in it, but obviously produced after the end of WW II. Printed in Germany (not West Germany) so I think the book was produced just after the end of the W ar . While G ermany was divided into 4 military zones, the official East/West country split did n ot happen until 1949 - so I think the book is pre-1949.
