T.S. Eliot - The Waste Land -Boni & Liveright, 1922, Second Impression # 16 Of 1000

Arguably the greatest long poem of the 20th century, a Connolly 100 title, of which Connolly said "Of The Waste Land I will say nothing but that we should read it every April. It is the breviary of post-war disillusion, 'the hope only of empty men,' written in Switzerland after a near break-down...hard to listen to without tears." GALLUP A6.b.

There are chips to the cover and some light foxing to the end pages. Otherwise the book is in VG condition. No marking or writing on the interior pages.

New York, Boni & Liveright, 1922. Hardback second edition, limited to 1000 copies. This being number #16. The second edition is more commonly referred to as the second impression. This copy has 'mountain' misspelled as 'mount in' on page 41.
