This fabulous wine decanter by S&F features sterling silver hardware and handle with three-dimensional grapevine motif. It is in Excellent Condition. It measures 9.25" high, 9" wide and 7" deep and weighs 1 lbs. 10 oz. It is signed "450 Sterling S&F" on the sterling collar around the neck of the decanter. This is an example of American Brilliant Period cut glass and early American Silversmith workmanship at its best. T are no chips or fleabites and the crystal is amazingly bright and clear. This piece has been displayed in the same family's china cabinet for many many years. It doesn't look like it was ever used. S&F Sterling was a high quality silver Company in San Francisco in the early 1900's. This decanter is a rare and beautiful piece of art from the American Brilliant Period.
