This lot is a wonderful set of S. Kirk & Sons flatware which is sterling silver and all the pieces are marked. The set has a total of 48 pieces which break down like this:15 teaspoons; 8 entree forks; 8 salad forks; 8 knives; 2 soup spoons; 1 pickle fork; 1 pair sugar tongs; 1 olive spoon; 1 berry/jelly spoon; 1 small ladle; 1 meat fork; and 1 large ladle The large ladle is noted as sterling handle, but the bottom portion has been replaced because the bottom bowl part is sterling as well. The sugar tongs have what appears to be bird feet ends. Great lot of the Repousse pattern, and quite a lot of silver. The total weight is 59.6 ounces or about 55 ounces troy. The melt value of the lot is a touch over $915 just for the sterling value, so quite a wonderful investment non-the-less. Beautiful group. Please email questions and much success!!
