You are bidding on a collection of United States plate blocks mounted with black mounts on Minkus album pages. There are a total of 325 plate blocks mounted on these album pages. The plate blocks span 1951 to 1970 and include both commemorative and regular issues. Additional pages (with mounts but no plate blocks) are included for air mail issues. Also included are additional pages (no mounts or plate blocks) for special delivery, certified mail, and postage due issues. In total over 130 album pages are included here. Total face value of the plate blocks alone is $95.00, plus the album pages and mounts.

The majority of plate blocks in this lot are 3, 4, 5, and 6 cent varieties. Virtually complete for commemoratives from 1951 to 1970. Scott catalog numbers begin with #998 and continue through #1415-1418. This is a very, very clean collection. All issues are MNH with nice centering and are free of perf separations and gum damage. Mounts are cut nicely and mounted neatly. The album pages are free of marking, writing, rips, tears, stains, etc. As I said this is a very, very clean collection which would make an outstanding basis for expansion.
