Breech This auction is for a total of 2 sheets of ship's stationary with 2 matching envelopes. From the Captain's Office, you will get the matching stationary from the following ship: S. S. ERNEST R. BREECH This set of Great Lakes Freighter Stationary is a very rare find. I have just a limited amount of this stationary available. The stationary came from the Captain's Office aboard the S/S Ernest R. Breech, back in the 1960s/70s. If you have any questions, please ask before you bid.These light cream color sheets/envelopes are the real deal. The sheets of stationary are in three colors. The ship is black ink, The Blue Bird Flag is blue and gold, and the FORD sign and the name of the ship is in dark blue ink. The Blue Bird Flag was the flag Henry Ford (the first) picked for all his ships, tugs, and company. Also on the back of each envelope is another color print of the Ford's Blue Bird Flag.These are not a printer copy. But real Captain's stationary made by the Ford Motor Company for the Captains to use aboard their ships. The colors are rich and sharp.
