Saba Freiburg 15M Louvered Grill German Tube Radio **Works Perfectly** Offered in this very special auction is a 1964/65 Saba Freiburg 15M with a wooden louvered grill. This was one of the very last Freiburg all-tube models to be manufactured. Only the super rare Freiburg 18 (I have a mint one that will be listed shortly), followed this model in 1966. The condition of this radio is superb. The wood cabinet/grill is almost flawless, the dial glass, knobs, function buttons and metal trim are in great shape. The chassis is rust free and incredibly clean. The robust 13-tube chassis powers a 6 speaker system. The tube configuration is EM87, ECC85, ECH81, EF89, EBF 89, ECC83, EF86x2, ELL80x2, ECL80, EM84 and EABC80. T is a four band set up including SW, LW, AM, and FM STEREO (88-104Mhz.). The stereo multiplex adapter is present and can be seen in the pictures of the chassis. The radio works very well with Strong Reception and sound quality. T is no hum or other sound distortions. All mechanical features of the radio are in working condition including the motortuning. The chassis is USA power compatible. This very large radio measures 27.6"x17.9"x12.2" and weighs in at over 50 lbs. Only serious and knowledgeable radio collectors are invited to bid on this radio.
