Over the next few weeks or so I am going to be selling all of my private West German radio collection. ALL of the items that I will be auctioning are in absolutely excellent condition and most are quite rare, especially in their condition. I will be selling a SABA Freiburg 125 Stereo (still with hang tag and remote!), Telefunken Opus 7 (Blonde Cabinet), Siemens Schatulle M57, Telefunken Opus 2114 (4 ECL86 Output) amongst many other very desireble collectors items relating to radio/audio including Mullard, GEC Gold Lion, Amperex etc. including almost (40) NOS Telefunken EL84 and ECL86 tubes. Up for auction: A SABA TransAll De Luxe "G" AUTOMATIC! This was SABA's last (1974) and greatest portable transistor radio they ever manufactured. It is completely functional and in absolutely excellent condition. This radio is in near mint condition and quite large. Like most radio factories SABA also wanted to have an answer to the popular GRUNDIG portables in that era. When you see this beauty and listen to it, you wil know it. This radio comes from a smoke free home. You will not find this radio very often on eBay. The radio is both cosmetically and technically in superb condition. T is only one extremely small spot on the top that is hardly visible. The sound is just fantastic on all bands. No hums. The bands are 2MW, 4SW, LW and FM to 104 Mhz. The radio has five pre-select bottons for FM. The short wave sensitivity is extremely good, making world band listening a real pleasure. The sound is room filling from the tweeter and large woofer. The station scale is perfect. The knobs and push bottoms and *lighted* dial are all in excellent condition and completely functional. The two antennas are perfect without any nicks or bending and telescopes fully. This radio also has a strength meter on the right that is fully functional. Tone and volume by means of three sliding knobs and t is also an AFC botton. In the case w t is a powerful and weak station that are two close to each other, the automatic tunning circuit will bring in the powerful station. If however, you would like the weak station, simply turn off the automatic tunning circuit. The radio runs on the included orginal power cord and will also run on D cell batteries. It runs perfectly on both. It will work on a 110V or 220V. Extra 110V fuses will be supplied. T are connections on the back for an external antenna, extra inside antenna and record player. On the side t is a connection for headphones. The battery compartment is in absolutely excellent condition without any rust or corrosion. Please ask all questions prior to auction end. Buyer pays for packing/shipping costs. I never charge a "handling fee". Payment must be made within 10 days of close of auction. Paypal or postal money orders only. International bidders must pay through Paypal ONLY. Negative feedback will be left for all non-paying bidders and it will be reported to eBay. I encourage local pick-up if that will work for you. With all the vintage electronic items I will be selling from my personal collection, all items are sold "AS IS" and no returns. If you cannot accept these terms please do not bid. If t are any issues after the sale, I will do my very best to work with the buyer so everyone is happy! Good luck and thanks for visiting my auction! and please check out my other upcoming auctions!
