A very handsome and beautifully crafted dinnerware china set made by Sabin. This set includes 69 pieces that feature a variety of Colonial scenes as well as 22K gold painted edges. This is the Crest-O-Gold pattern from (I believe) the late 1920s...although I am not certain on that time frame. This set includes the following pieces: 12 cups (2.5" tall x 4.5" wide including handle), 12 small dessert plates (6.25" diameter), 12 saucers (6.25" diameter), 11 small bowls (1.5" tall x 5.5" diameter), 11 large plates (9" diameter), 9 medium bowls (8" diameter), 1 large bowl (2.5" tall x 9.25" diameter) and 1 platter (11.5" wide). This set does not appear to have been used, but some pieces may have faint wear to them due to being stacked and stored for some time. Some pieces have tiny flea bites. One of saucers does have a half dime-shaped chip on one edge. All other pieces are in great condition...no cracks/chips/breaks/repairs. As you can imagine, t will be some heft and bulk with this entire set after it is securely packaged (most likely in two or more seperate parcels to avoid the weight from breaking the items). Total weight will be approximately 50 - 55 lbs. If you are in the vicinity of northwest Indiana/Chicagoland....you are MORE than welcome to come by and pickup this set to save on shipping costs.
