This is a handmade Saburo-Japan 1 H 5 6 4 Master Survival Knife Special Formulated Stainless Steel Knife. When I ask my husband how old it is he just say he got it years ago. T are no nicks, the blade is not bent and no grooves in the knife. The blade is 9inches long stainless steel. The handle is metal with a screw off top which has a compass in the cap part, it comes with a sharping stone which is placed in a pocket on the front of the knife holder. The holder is stamped top grain leather made in the U S A and does show some signs of wear.Thank you for stopping by and please come back While you are please visit my store for more great items I do combine shipping on items purchased over a 7 day period please let me know so I don't send you an invoice. Domestic shipping only I had a question from a interested buyer of the knife he asked if it had been sharpened and if t were scratches on the blade. I had my husband look at it and he did say he had sharpened at but not very often. T are minimal scratches on the blade not deep ones and hard to see with out a magnifing glass.
