Over the years, many gifts with prayer requests have been left "for" the images representing Jesus, The Virgin, and the Catholic Saints, at the Carmelite Convents we work with. The nun’s at those convents have recently started to send us a few of the more interesting gifts to auction on their behalf. This reliquary cross is unique, as it includes a compartment that was used to place a private prayer for Jesus, through the intercession of Our Lady of Carmel. This reliquary cross of the Sacred Heart is 13.5 inches long, 9 inches across, and 2 inches deep; it weighs 370 grams of nickel silver, and the compartment closes and opens. Please note that the simulated stones are replacements for this auction, as the original ones were missing; it was also professionally cleaned and polished. This is the only reliquary we have like this, so bid high if you want it! Good luck bidding!
