James Sadler & Sons Pottery Made in England Early-Mid 1900's Copper and Ivory Luster, Grapes Pattern - 2 milk pitchers - This is a set of two copper and ivory luster pitchers, made in England by James Sadler & Sons in the early to mid century. The background is copper luster with ivory luster grape vines on both sides and ivory luster strips along top and bottom. The larger pitcher is in fine condition but the smaller pitcher was recently damaged. I have priced this item based on the value of the larger pitcher only. The smaller pitcher is being included at no additional cost and no added shipping cost. However, if you do not want the smaller pitcher please inform me by email and I will exclude it. Large Pitcher: The larger pitcher measures approximately 5 1/4" tall and 7 1/2" wide from the handle to the tip of the spout. This piece is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, fading or other defects evident. It shows minimal wear, as though kept as a "shelf item" and not used. The smaller pitcher measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 6 1/4" wide, handle to spout. It is in the same condition as the larger pitcher except for two damages that just occurred when it was accidentally dropped. The handle broke off and a small piece chipped off the bottom rim.
