Up for auction is what I think is an unusual shaped Sadler teapot . It measures 9" from spout to handle and 7" from tip of lid to the base. The teapot is cream color with lots and lots of gold trim (even on the base) and a wonderful gold floral and leaf design. The bottom of the teapot has England imprinted with the #3179 written in gold. T are no chips, stains, or cracks. T is very minor crackling or crazing due to age and very minor gold wear on the tip. The teapot is in excellent condition and quite a beauty. I don't think it was ever used. It would make a wonderful addition to your collection.
