You are bidding on a new, in-the-box Sage model 1850 fly reel. As shown in the photo, this reel comes with the box, instructions and neoprene bag. It has not been fished. There may be some scuffing and general wear from when it was on the shelf. This reel can be converted from right to left hand retrieve. These lightweight (under 6 ounces!) reels have the fully sealed, high-performance SCS Floating Tripod drag unit. This system provides the kind of smooth startup, power and resistance to water and grit that's usually found only on high-end fly reels. It also has a machined, ergonomic handle, tough, non-glare titanium finish and a padded neoprene case. The 1850 model is ideal for 5 or 6 weight outfits, and can be set up with approximately 100 yards of 20# backing, when used with a WF6 line. This reel will be shipped to the continental US via Three Day Select UPS service, insured for the value of the auction. I do combine shipping, so you might check out my other auctions.
