Limited Edition Numbered Sailboat wall hanging Only 500 will be made of this design. Up for auction is a beautiful abstract sailboat made from very light weight aluminum sheet metal which I have sculpted into the sailboat design. It has a modern art deco slim sleek design. The sailboat is mounted onto the 20" by 10" aluminum sheet metal and has a 3D effect. The sailboat has scroll work detailing done with hot glue which has been gold leaf painted giving it an inlayed effect. This artwork has holographic accents on the sailboat and on both sides of the aluminum. The top and bottom has gold leafed accent paint as shown in the photos. The metal back is reinforced with a 6" foamboard backer. The amazing details and rich reflective color tones have a dramatic 3D effect. This piece reflects a rainbow of colors with a dazzling array of sparkle as the light hits it from different angles. When you open your box it will look silver but once up on the wall it comes alive with a burst of color. It shines beautifully in all levels of light - even dimmer lighting levels will give off a glowing effect.
