RARE HAWAII EXCLUSIVE: LIMITED EDITION
SAINT DAMIEN CANONIZATION ENAMELLED 1.5" MEDALLION
SAINT DAMIEN OF MOLOKAI
CANONIZED IN ROME, ITALY ON OCTOBER 11, 2009
You are bidding on an impossible to find, beautifully polished limited edition and direct from Hawaii official "Saint Damien of Molokai" canonization medallion. Definitely a cherished and precious keepsake collectible for anyone who loves Fr. Damien and a must-have! PLEASE NOTE: Red spots on jpgs are reflection from the flash. Aloha and thanks for your patience! Made of heavy brass-like material, this special, round bezel sized enamelled Saint Damien medallion measures approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. So smooth to the feel and wonderful weight and great to put in your pocket or bag as a gentle reminder of a very special man. Best of all, this medal will be a great addition to any collection...and, of course, a great way to remember an extremely compassionate priest with uncommon kindness, truly a much beloved figure to the lepers of Molokai here in the Hawaiian islands and to the rest of the world-at-large. I believe this special commemorative medallion may have been commissioned by the Knight of Columbus based on the plastic covering which I will include. Condition of the outer plastic covering is fair. I think this cover was used to protect the medallion during transportation.
Direct from Hawaii. Front of medal reads: "Saint Damien of Molokai" and "Canonized 11 October 2009." Reverse: depicts imagery and scenes from Molokai and reads "To Become One of You" and "To Live and Dies with You."
Perfect Saint Damien medal for anyone who loves Fr. Damien! Best yet, can be worn as a token of remembrance to a beloved priest and compassionate individual.
On-hand and ready to ship! Be one of the first to get this very special commemorative Fr. Damien medal. I believe that this medal was made as a special Hawaii commemorative for the upcoming canonization of Father Damien.
Damien de Veuster , SS.CC.
