We know of no other way to get reliquaries in this state of conservation, than directly from the convents who have been their caretakers since they were made. This wonderful reliquary was sent in to us by the Dominican nun in the picture below and it is on consignment for auction. She tells us that it is from a very old 19 th century broken nun's rosary that came from France . The reliquary is made of coin silver and it is 1/2 inch in diameter. The relic inside is not for sale, but rather the nun has asked us to give it as gift to the winning bidder. She tells us that it is most likely a piece of the linen Alb worn by the saint. It is not for public adoration, as t are no documents for it that she could find. Good luck bidding!
