MASTERPIECE ARCHANGEL ST MICHAEL CARVED WOODEN SPANISH 33 " It is really wonderful Archangel St Micheal an adorable depiction adorned in an elegant colors, the soft feature of his face with glass eyes and the figure´s harmonious posture has a sensation of movement, this details are representative of the Cuzco school, decorated in high relief of gold leaf hand carved in cedar spanish wood. His dressed like a soldier for the battle against evil, this wonderful work of art Michael archangel captures his courage and kind heart. His name asks "Who is like God?" and he is the patron saint of the sick as well as police, paratroopers and grocers. Michael defeated the powers of hell. are all polychrome and decorated with flowers design to reflect this colonial period of Peruvian dated by the early of 1950. This masterful work of art has an important size, the sword and the shield are silver plate and is in good condition, Please see all details pictures below.
