Double your traffic. Regarding the Archistrial knives by Hisatsugu Haneda. The original knife was designed in 1988 and manufactured by G. Sakai in Japan under a royalty contract with Mr. Haneda. Blade material is ATS-34 with a tapered tang. Handles are made of dark brown micarta scales. The thumb raise is distinctive with jimping throughout the top of the blade. The thick spine tapers towards the tip. Jimping on the bottom grove makes working with fine cuts a breeze and controllable. Close-up of the base of the blade. Simple construction with good workmanship on the joints. The reflection was not on purpose. The guard assists when holding the handle or when the forefinger extended to the groove for fine works without obstructing the palm. See the b ack of the blade with a blade thickness which is prominent. The tapered tang can been observed from the pics. Seki-Japan marked at the base of the blade. Stainless steel bolster, brown micarta scales. Brass pins with stainless steel centre. Leather sheath with a brass stud to hold the knife secure in a horizontal carry position. The back of the sheath, with a belt loop and 3 holes serving as a lanyard loop or an escape hole. Original green box with ancient japanese warrior and the G.
