We have for auction a rare and seldom seen Vintage 1970's Gerber Silver Eagle two blade Pocket Knife that is NIB! This great old Vintage knife is "Factory New" and in all original condition. This great knife was manufactured for Gerber Legendary Blades of Portland, OR by the G. Sakai Cutlery Co. of Seki City, Japan one of the finest cutlery makers in all of Japan! This is the same company that now produces the famous Al Mar knives. The Silver Eagle was offered for a few years and this is one of the very first This is also one of the only knives Gerber had produced by this firm, making them highly collectable today. This is a nice early knife featuring a Stainless Steel Blade with Stainless bolsters and brass liners. Thus a truely great collector's piece in todays market! It's great that the knife has been preserved so well in a fine collection. We don't see many knives from this era that are new in the box! Each of these knives were hand crafted, and finished by the finest Japanese craftsmen. This is a rock solid knife and is still in all original condition. It looks just as nice today as it did the day it was made. The knife has 2 blades with the main blade measuring 2 1/2" inches, and the second measuring 1 3/4" and each open from oposite ends of the knife.
