This auction is for a very very rare vintage store display. This is a doll mannequin made of some sort of composition. Facial features are painted. These dolls were used in a bridal shop window to show the different bridal dresses available at the bridal salon. It is more of a half doll as doll has no legs but uses a wooden stand on bottom half of her torso. Doll is in EXCELLENT Condition but does have some crazing consistent with age., Dress is made of a satin like or satin material. head vail is made of Lace. Doll measures approx. 10 3/4" tall.This is the last of several of these manikins that I have listed each in a different dress. Manikin and dress look to be in 30's or 40's but that is my opinion. Dress is Lovely but very simple with not much details shoulders and sleeves use same fabric as the vail. A few tiny dirt marks nothing to speak of. I have not made any attempt to clean the dress.
