Offered here is an All-Star ring from the Sally League, dated 1961. Operating more or less continuously since 1904, and located primarily in the southeastern United States, it as been variously known as the South Atlantic League, Southern League, Sally League and now, again, the South Atlantic League, The SAL is a minor league at the A level that plays a full season. It has an amazing history, and its alumni include a long list of past and present stars. Current major league players who graduated from the SAL include Ryan Braun, Robinson Cano, Hunter Pence, and C. C. Sabathia, Josh Hamilton,and Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera. . The Hall of Fame is full of players who played or managed in this league, including Ty Cobb, Steve Carlton, Bob Gibson, Walt Alston, and Tommy Lasorda. Thering is silver and shows a good deal of wear but is still in excellent condition, and is approximately a size 12 1/2. Buyer pays $10 toward Priority mail shipping with delivery confirmation.
