Hello...It's time to thin out the closet, so I'll be listing several vintage Minor League Baseball game used jerseys over the next few weeks...so please check my other auctions.Anyway, let's continue with this one from the Salt Lake Trappers. This is a blue mesh pullover style jersey with Trappers in red and white sewn onto the front and the number 32 in red and white sewn onto the back of the jersey . Red and white trim on the sleeve cuffs and surrounding the collar. Wilson size 50 tag in the collar. The Salt Lake Trappers were an independent minor league baseball team in the Pioneer League from 1985 thru 1992. The team made headlines in 1987 when they had a 29 game winning streak during the season. Comedian and actor Bill Murray had an ownership stake in the team. In 1993 Salt Lake received a AAA team, so the Trappers moved to Pocatello Idaho and became the Posse. The following year they moved back to Utah and became the Ogden Raptors where they still play today. The jersey is in nice condition with light fading to the upper portion from years of use but no rips, tears, material loss or repairs.Tag in the collar lists the size as 50 but the actual measurments are (while lying flat):Under armpit to armpit across chest: 25" (50" chest) - Top of back collar to bottom of jersey: 31". Across the bottom at the waist: 23"I'm sorry, I do read more
