Teton Rocks! Extremely Rare 90mm 'Salt & Pepper' Orbicular Jasper Carved Gemstone Sp 'Crystal Ball' with Brass Stand
You are bidding on the very rare, large natural and genuine 'Salt & Pepper' Orbicular Jasper Sp as shown in the pictures below and not seen anyw else in eBay. This one-of-a-kind sp is of museum quality, with a marvelous high-gloss shiny polish and no scratches, marks or uneven surfaces. It is flawless. This wonderful display specimen will make an ideal addition to any collection. It was mined and carved in Zimbabwe, Africa . This beautiful gemstone crystal ball measures 90mm (approx. 3-5/8 inches) in diameter, and weighs two and one-quarter pounds (36 oz.) . The One Cent coin in the photograph illustrates actual size. The brass colored stand is included. It is starting at a low bid price with NO RESERVE. Orbicular Jasper gets its name from the spherical inclusion zones ('orbits' or 'spots') found on the surface. The 'Salt & Pepper' version of this remarkable stone is so-called because it is pitch black with abundant white speckles . It is also called Guinea Fowl Jasper because its spotted surface resembles that of the game bird. Even more amazing for a natural gemstone, the white spots are distributed evenly around the entire surface of the sp Its symmetry is outstanding. This sp appears much the same from every viewing angle! Orbicular Jasper is said to help the individual accept responsibility, and find harmony with life's lessons and tasks.
