Gallery Beaux-Arts Hello and welcome to Gallery Beaux-Arts. We are an online gallery specializing in original paintings, drawings, and mixed media works on canvas and paper. That is, all of our pieces are hand-painted (no prints or reproductions whatsoever) and sourced from the east and west coast of the United States. We source our art through a number of discerning collectors and buyers who canvas estate sales, second-hand stores, and other galleries for artwork. We also procure work from artists for whom part of their training is to replicate the styles of master painters, hence the term, "After painting" or "After drawing." Much of the work has a vintage quality. Therefore, please do not expect a pristine work of art. Some of the works on paper are aged, perhaps torn, or curled on the edges. And some of the canvases have paint that is cracking. Dimensions are approximate due to uneven edges of paper or canvas. In all such cases, the defects from age are apparent from the photographs. Because the pieces have likely passed through many hands before they come to us, it is impossible for us to provide any sort of provenance or certificate of authenticity.
