SAMRON THAILAND BRONZEWARE FLATWARE SERVICE FOR 8 This is an absolutely gorgeous flatware and serving set for eight. It was made in Bangkok , Thailand by S. Samron Thailand Co., Ltd. I am not sure of the year. It comes in a beautiful wood box with gold tone hardware that is incised with “ Italy ”. This set comes with the original certificate showing the manufacturing information (with the exception of the year it was made), shows what the pieces are made of and gives washing and cleaning instructions. This piece appears to be in good condition. This flatware is made of solid nickel bronzeware composed of copper, tin and nickel. Nickel bronze is recognized as one of the superior metalwares of the world. The luster of its unique beauty can be preserved with minimum care. This set includes a complete dinnerware and serving set of utensils. The set includes a large and small serving spoon, salad fork and spoon, two meat/serving knives, a carving knife and what appears to be a crab/lobster knife. The set includes eight pieces of the following: large spoons, salad forks, teaspoons, butter knives, sharp knives, dinner forks and 16 of what appear to be olive/lobster/crab knives. The handles are all thick squares and each piece is incised with “ Thailand ”. This set shows some slight scratching, wear from age and usage and slight discoloration from sitting and not being used; otherwise, I found no deep scratches, chips, cracks, bends, dents, breaks or any other damage. This set appears to be in good condition. This entire set could use a good cleaning and polishing and it would be a gorgeous set to serve your guests with style and elegance. This set comes in a beautiful wood box that is lined in a red felt type material. There is a tray that fits over the bottom section. The bottom, the tray and the lid all have slots to hold each utensil. The inside of the lid is stamped with the S. Samron Thailand information; however, it is somewhat faded and a little hard to read (see picture). The box measures approximately 4” tall x 17 7/8” long x 17” deep. The grain is absolutely gorgeous and the edges of the entire box are done in lines, giving it a touch of added beauty and elegance. There are a few slight scratches and a few tiny red marks on the outside of the box; otherwise, I found no dents, chips, cracks or any other damage. The box appears to be in very good, strong, sturdy condition and appears to house and protect the set securely. The hardware is a little scratched and shows some slight discoloration; otherwise, it appears to be strong, sturdy and in good condition. The handle of the case is beautifully designed, giving the case an extra added touch of elegance. It too, has some slight scratching and discoloration; otherwise, it appears to be strong and solid. This entire set appears to be in good condition. I do not know much about this type of item, so please look very closely at all of the pictures that have been taken to see what the item looks like, what damages it may have and what may be missing. It has been pictured from every possible angle to give you a view of all sections of the item. Please feel free to use the enlargement and zoom features to be sure you get a good overall view of this item. This would be a fabulous set to give as a gift for yourself or someone you know who loves setting a beautiful and elegant table setting when serving friends and family. This would also be a fabulous set to add to any S. Samron , Tailand or any boxed, complete or bronzeware flatware and serving set.
