Item Description Thisis a brand new full tang hand made entry level practical Samurai Katana Sword. This sword features a Buddha on one side of the tsuba, and two sea dragons on the other side. Dragons are interesting mystic creatures that can be found in almost every culture. In Japanese culture, specially for the Samurais, dragon is a symbol of courage, luck, and strength. This Katana sword is full tang, and can be fully dissembled. The blade of the sword is handmade with high carbon steel, hand hammered until the carbon is evenly distributed throughout the blade. The blade has a consistent hardness across. A Bo-Hi locates at the top of the blade to decrease the weight of the blade and give audible feedback when swung. The blade also features a kissake, hamon, and comes with a thin edge already sharpened. The tsuba of the sword is made by blackened brass, features a Buddha on one side, and two sea dragons releasing water on the other. Two Seppas separate and secure the Tsuba to the blade of the sword. The scabbard of the sword is made by hard wood with a black dull gloss finish. The Tsuka core is wooden with an imitation ray skin Same and black cotton cord. Two bamboo Mekugi secure the tang of the blade into the Tsuka. Two blackened steel Menuki decorate each side of the Tsuka. The Kashira is a mounted Bushi. This sword also features a black cotton sword bag.
