Offered for auction sale. No Reserve. A very handsome, c. 1930s, 4 1/2" diameter x 2 1/2" high, San Ildefonso black, polished pottery bowl, with a classic San Ildefonso Pueblo shape. This small, beautifully-shaped black polished pottery bowl presents a low-rising, perfectly curved body finishing with an inward-curving lip. The condition is very good [see picture]; the patina is shiny and light-reflecting. T is a 1/4" chip on the pottery bowl's lip [see picture]; and t are minor scratches, from 70 years of use, in everyday Pueblo life. Overall, only the wear and tear (1/4" chip) that could be expected from a pottery bowl made sometime in the 1930s. We ship USPS Priority , at cost, paid by the buyer. Pottery bowl will be well-packed; shipping insurance is optional. Shipping in the 48 States.
