You are bidding on an copy of The Dodgers Way to Play Baseball by Al Campanis , signed by legendary Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax !! Koufax has hand-signed the book on the first end page in black pen. The signature is authenticated by Global Authentication. The item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Global, and bears a sticker with a unique identification number for your memorabilia. Global number: GV 202463 The item has some significant surface wear. The dust jacket is torn in various places along the edges (visible in the photos) and is kept under a plastic cover. The interior pages are intact and tightly bound, with only some very minor tearing at the bottom left of a few pages. The pages are discolored with age, but perfectly legible. Al Campanis, the author, went on to become Dodgers General Manager for two decades. The book is a comprehensive, amateur-friendly guide to playing baseball at every level of competition. Sandy Koufax played with the Dodgers from 1955 to 1966. He is one of the greatest pitchers in Major League history, having won many titles in a relatively brief career: NL MVP, 2-time World Series MVP, Cy Young winner, 6-time All-Star. Koufax had an amazing 0.95 ERA in 4 World Series. He is 2nd all-time in career strikeouts and no-hitters. The item also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Cure for Cancers.
