SANKYO CHOKIN MUSIC BOX DESIGN, COPPER GILDED WITH SILVER AND GOLD You are bidding this fine small music box by SANKO with CHOKIN design created possibly by the renowned Japanese artist SKUHI EGUCHI. The picture of the day lilies and butterflies, signed, is created by etching pure copper and then gilding it with silver and gold. Chokin Cutlery uses the same artist and process in their limited edition pocket knives.The box lid is 3 1/2" by 2 3/4" and is raised to 1/2" for the decorated top of 2 3/4" by 2". The music box stands 2 1/2' tall with 1/2" legs. The music box is marked Sankyo and plays music from "The sound of Music". One addition, t is an old dime inside the music box that I can not remove, it can move and stop the player, shake and tilt if not playing. You are bidding on this fine Sankyo music box plus S & H.
