"A Sans Souci Park Bear Cat Roller Coaster Metal Sign & Tickets DescriptionYou are bidding on a Rare metal Sign. This sign was salvaged from the Bear Cat roller coaster from Sans Souci park at Hanover Twp. Pa. This sign was bolted and taken off of the coaster a few days right before it was torn down! This "WARNING - KEEP YOUR HANDS AND ARMS WITHIN SIDES OF CAR" sign is a one of a kind find find! I'm also adding a Bear Cat and other park tickets! This "WARNING" Sign would be the last thing your would see as you went up & up right before the BIG drop! This old park was located in Hanover Twp near Wilkes-Barre on the Sans Souci Parkway and has been closed for many years since 1975 and is now the location of the Hanover Jr/Sr. high school. This park first started in 1902 when it was a turn-around spot for trolley cars. Some rides, The Bearcat roller coaster, The Giggler, dodgems, Whip, train ride, wild mouse, poney cart, rocket, tumblebug,The Caterpillar, Dancing at this great location which was lighted by gas piped from a local mine! 1925 was the opening of the 500,000 gallon olympic swimming pool with 3 diving boards!
