Santa '99 Karen Germany, designer of Daddy's long Legs, created a large collection of animals and very life like dolls. It is my understanding that the company went out of business. Santa '99 was introduced in July 1999 and was able to retire to his Montana Ranch in June of 2000, when the next Santa was introduced. He is definitely dressed for the cold winter nights at the North Pole in his wool snowflake jacket, lined with heavy fleece. His preferred hat is his resin cowboy hat, but he does carry the traditional Santa's cap, with jingle bell, on his belt for special ocassions. He is dressed in layers, with his red long johns, under his evergreen wool shirt. His Mrs. made him beautiful gloves, with fringe, to handle those pesky reindeer. When he moves from his Montana Ranch, he comes with his comfy chair with fringe, for sitting in front of the fire. Santa's original cost was $190.00 and I believe that he will only go up in value. Santa's original box and paper work will come with him. Santa was lovingly cared for, displayed in my home.
